It's Time For My Seasonal Cold! Yeah Me!

It started two days ago with a nagging little cough. Then yesterday I was blessed with some sneezing and a little nasal congestion. Today, I am honored to be given enough mucus in my head that I am spending every waking moment either trying to blow it out of my nose or couging the crap up as it drains down my throat (Sorry to leave those images in your head). Yep, nice way to spend a vacation. While I was pretty alert and upbeat when I awoke, by 3:00pm I was done and by 4:30 I was asleep for a nice 4-hour nap.

I think it helped. At least I hope it did. Doing 45 minutes on the elliptical tomorrow will be a real pain with me coughing, sneezing and wheezing all over the place to go along with my immense sweating.

So if I don't write anything tomorrow, please dial 9-1-1 as I am probably keeled over the handlebars of that ridiculous contraption.

Workout
My workout consisted of me laying in bed trying to get warm from the chills. I guess, in a way, there is some calorie loss from shivering, but I don't think it will technically count as a workout. Alas, we have allotted one day off per week to recover from our daily punishment so it looks like I have taken mine today.
