Our Mission

Grimm and Leslie started this blog because they're not accountable enough for their diet and exercise regimen on their own to document their journey and develop a community of support where the fear of your judgment can keep them in line to reach their fitness goals.

If you're up for the trip, there's room for more.

Back From The Dead

It is amazing what I good nights rest will do. I almost dreaded waking up as I felt too good to be true in bed and didn't want a repeat of yesterday. But not only did I still feel good after waking up, I felt great during and after my workout and had a great overall day with minimal coughing. I am still stuffy, but I have a hopeful feeling that the worst of this cold is LONG behind me.

Ahead is work and time spent away from the calorie-friendly comforts of home. I am hoping to fight of the lure of the snack food heaven that is my fathers house and stick to what I know.

Hopefully. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Workout
I woke up feeling 200% better than the previous two days and immediately went to the dungeon and started on the elliptical. 45 minutes on Level 4 Afterburn after which it said I went 4.10 miles and burned 878 calories. Considering I was also wearing a semi-heavy long sleeved shirt, I was sweating so bad I had puddles forming underneath me. Still, I completed the workout without a single cough or sneeze and went further and burned more calories than I had before.

Tomorrow will be a different story. I hate Jillian Michaels.
