90 minutes Level 4 Cross Country on the elliptical.
That's right. 90 minutes.
According to the elliptical machine, I went 7.73 miles and burned 1364 calories (which is more than I ate yesterday!).
What motivated me? Seeing my friend Amy looking all THIN and HOT and standing next to her for this picture and feeling very NOT THIN and NOT HOT. Also remembering how she smoked my ass in the 5K we ran together last year and knowing that she's only getting faster and awesomer and wondering, "Can we really call it running together if she finishes ten minutes ahead of me this year?" I've got to keep up!
Runaway* by Slade helped me get past the 60 minute mark when by brain was like, "Danger! Danger! We've never done this before! Why are we doing this?!!?!! Stop doing this! ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUSLY DOING THIS?" and I was all, "Yep."
