Our Mission

Grimm and Leslie started this blog because they're not accountable enough for their diet and exercise regimen on their own to document their journey and develop a community of support where the fear of your judgment can keep them in line to reach their fitness goals.

If you're up for the trip, there's room for more.

Cereal Calorie Killer

At work, I have gotten into a pattern - knowing how many calories to eat at what times - to the point where once I get off work, I should be doing OK calorie wise.

Now that I am home, I'm a little screwed up. Just one cup of Corn Flakes looks pretty freaking tiny, like I could scarf it down in like five bites tiny. So I pour out another. Of course now that I have two cups of Flakes, one cup of 2% milk (the ONLY milk I will drink) just won't cut it. Wham-o there goes 400 calories down the tubes...

Workout
I did 45 minutes on the elliptical on the level 4 Hill Run running 3.4 miles and burning 754 calories in the process. At least that is what the machine told me and I can only hope Leslie hasn't taught it to lie.

You read that right. I ate both a can of corn and peas. I mixed them together. It's an old dish created in my single days when I could not cook and a great way to kill 500 calories.

Yes, I am being completely sarcastic when I write that.
